Once upon a time I worked for a really wonderful company called Broderbund Software. I was there from 1990 until 1999. It was a fun place to work, I looked forward to going to work every day.
Every two or so years, we get together for a reunion, and amazingly a couple hundred people still want to get together and see old friends that they worked with a long time ago.
The former founder and president of the company hosts this event at his big beautiful home. Most of these photos are from the tea garden, it is really amazing.
This is where we spent the day on Saturday reconnecting with many old friends. My husband and I met working there together so the reunion is really fun for both of us.
I have to give credit to my husband for these lovely photos.
On the crafting front, I still seem to be in bit of a fog, but a couple of projects are moving along slowly but surely. Turkey Feathers is hosting a "Finish What You Have" challenge, and I am joining in! Maybe this is just what I need to get me moving.
Also, just wanted to say that Gena over at Monkeyporkbun has been so kind to me lately. First, she gave me a "Nice Matters" award! I am so flattered, what a thoughtful award. And then, she sent me the cutest little stuffed fish that is stuffed with some lavender. It smells divine! I haven't taken a photo yet, but I see a photo of it on Gena's header over at her blog. Gena and I live in adjacent towns and she is the only crafty blogger that I know in my immediate area, so I am glad to have found her. Thanks Gena!
