Well, we made it to the Maker Faire yesterday and what a day! I think I was a little overwhelmed by it all, there was so much to see. I took my time shopping at the Bazaar Bizarre and loved looking at all the booths. I finally got to meet Missy and see all her adorable bears in person. I was inspired and completely in awe at all the beautiful, colorful, creative crafts. What a wonderful sight it is to see all of these handmade goods in person to touch and feel, meeting the artists, talking with fellow crafters.
I had planned to go to some of the craft demos but with a potty training two-year-old it is sometimes hard to keep on a schedule. I ended up missing all of the ones that I had wanted to attend. I saw so much and had so much fun that it didn't matter. It was an incredible day and we plan to go again next year maybe for both days instead of just one.
We took photos but I'm too tired tonight to upload them. There are tons and tons of photos on flickr that you can see here. And Craft Magazine has a brief report and links to more photos here.
Thanks so much for coming and saying Hi! I loved meeting you and I hope soon you can come to one of our events here in Sac... or maybe participate?! :) I've tagged you! You can see the details on my blog.

Thank you for posting about the Faire. I was out of town for this one. Darn, it looked like so much fun! Next year. Are you thinking about participating?
