Finished! This was a fun pillow to put together. Log Cabin design made with some favorite fabrics in my stash, along with some quick machine quilting.
I made an envelope closure on the back using pieces of an old flannel sheet. The big bonus to using the flannel sheet was that the ends were already finished. I have one more pillow to cover and hope to get working on that this week.
I did a little quilting on my table runner this morning. I am close to finishing the quilting and then just need to add the binding.
And because I can't just focus on one project at a time, I started this patchwork pillow. I love, love, love these greens, oranges and browns together. I hope to have this finished this weekend. I have two pillow inserts from Ikea just waiting to be covered!
We had a lovely lunch downtown today and my husband took this great shot on our walk back.
Today we took a trip to the pumpkin patch.

We are half-way through October and I can't believe how quickly its
gone by. I guess I have been on a small blog break. I am giving flu
shots for the flu season and it has been keeping me pretty busy. I am working on a couple of crafty goodies that I will show here soon.
