I have always viewed other crafter's stashes of fabric with envy. I have never had a huge stash and usually buy fabric for the project I am working on. I have bought a few fat quarters here and there but have never had "too much"....until now! 
Over the past few months I have been buying a few cuts here a few cuts there, made the occasional etsy or superbuzzy order. And then recently my sister-in-law got me a gift certificate for a little fabric store in San Anselmo, CA (not too far from where I live) called Sunflower Fine Fabrics. When I went in to use my gift certificate I found out that the store was closing because of family related issues and everything in the store is 40% off!! You can imagine what fun I had shopping, she has beautiful fabrics including, Denise Schmidt, Amy Butler, Kaffe Fassett, tons of solid colors and batiks, quilting books, a few japanese crafting books and lots of notions.
After my little shopping spree last weekend I couldn't stop thinking about the 40% off deals and I went back yesterday. I found out that the store is now going to stay open!! And, since the very nice owner, Patty told everyone that everything was 40% off through January 31 she is keeping her promise. Don't you love her? I do, and I am going back again tomorrow. If you live anywhere near the Bay Area you should make a trip over to her cute little shop.

I get it now...your email confused my i thought you meant the "QA" in your town (don't want to start any rumors...) After drooling over your photos might just have to find my way there ASAP!!

What a wonderful stash you have and it's especially nice that you found things at such grand sale prices. I love all the fabrics and can envision all sorts of amazing projects you're going to have fun making.

Funny you should mention this shop. I went in there yesterday just because I was in San Anselmo for lunch. Had no idea the shop was almost closing, or that they were going to be having a sale. I was really excited and I even bought some of the same fabric as you! haha Patty was super nice and asked me if I wanted to teach a class. Small world, eh?
