What a cute project and I can see where it would be soothing to just create by "going with the flow," so to speak.

So cute!

What a great way to use up scrap fabric. And you know I can't ever throw anything away :)

Love the tea cozy, Nice prints too. I hang my tea cozies up because I like them too much to stuff them in a drawer - you should too!

love the tea cozie! Such a nice way to use up scraps of fabric. I am such a horder - i hate throwing any fabric or scrapbook item just in case i could possably use it again at some point in some way...lol

I think it is great to do some free form sewing - breaking the rules makes it so much more fun! :) The tea cozy looks wonderful.

These are adorable! But how do you sew random bits together and make them fit? I want to try this too but can't figure it out. Do you trim as you go making a straight line to sew to? maybe I just need to start sewing and see what happens :) Love the cheery fabrics you chose.

This is so cute! It touched me that you took this class with your mom ~ what a good memory:)

This is so cute...love the DS fabrics. I completely agree...I love to work improvisationally. Patterns can be beautiful, but it is so freeing to work this way!
