After:
I thought it would fun to post the before and after on this green bean teepee that we planted earlier this summer. I should have taken a photo about a month ago because it was actually taller but I think got so heavy that it started to fall. It was only a teepee for a very short time. It quickly grew out of control and we can no longer find the door. It had some beautiful red flowers on it too. The green beans were not edible or I just did not know how to cook them. As the beans got bigger we were surprised to find these inside:
Aren't they beautiful? We've been harvesting them just to show them to friends. Johnnie likes to put bunches of them in buckets and pretend that they are his ladybugs.
The green bean teepee is a little out of control now and we are going to tear it out this week, so I thought I'd share some pics before its gone.
That's quite a green bean explosion you've got there. I love growing edible things, it makes life so much fun. Ladybugs! heee.

that's so cool. we have two tipis and they both look more like your before photo. weird weather this summer made everyone's gardens here not as productive.
bummer.
